I have a diverse background and initially started out getting my B.S. and M.S. in Forest Engineering. After graduate school, I taught fore two years at Humboldt State University followed by 4.5 years with my own business working in Utility Forestry.
After my time in forestry, I discovered that my true passion lied in data and technology, which led me to start searching for a way to pivot my experience into analytics. I wound up going back to school in San Francisco when I was awarded a position at a highly selective Data Analytics and Business Intelligence program called MissionU (aquired by WeWork).
